Stock Pot, and Water Pitcher

Again I found some treasures, yesterday, and did not go for "broke." This beautiful stainless steel water pitcher, from Goodwill, of course. Brand new, never used. Shines, like a mirror. Most likely to have come from a hotel, or country club. I recognize the look. $1.99, but I actually got it for $.99 because I decided not to take it at the last minute but the clerk said..."would you take it for $.99?" Sure, I said, I will give it to my daughter. Sure enough she likes it...they like it, a lot. It will have many uses. They always serve ice cold water in the pitcher, at dinner time.

Also, this stock pot, is a 12qt. beautiful heavy stainless steel...no lid, but previously I bought this large lid, which of course was too large for all the other pots, and skillets, but was very useful. Now, it fits this one perfectly. The cost of the stock pot was $9.99 with my discount, of 25% came to about $7.50. Retail price for a large stock pot like this at a department store, with or without a lid would cost about $89.99. Also, 3 great little knives. One is a Farberware, the other a Wüsthof, the middle is an inexpensive paring knife. They were all $.69 each. The Wüsthof alone would cost about $15.00 or more, retail.
